Northwind Theological Seminary is an ecumenical, online seminary serving many denominations. Biblically-based with theological roots in the Wesleyan tradition, we have a strong emphasis on Specialized Ministry, Spiritual Formation, and Discipleship.
NTS has pioneered a Guided Education Pedagogy designed for the individual student who is taking a course anywhere, anytime, on any device. NTS Faculty-Mentors vet resources, organize learning, and guide students in Oxford-Style Courses where students

Northwind Theological Seminary is a Charter Member of the CPCA Certification Commission and has completed the Certification process, which included a self-study and site-visit, of the Council of Private Colleges of America - Certification Commission resulting in Advanced Certification from 2022 to 2032.

Northwind Theological Seminary is a contextualization partner of Kairos University (www.kairos.edu). KU stewards followers of Jesus who flourish in their vocations for the sake of the world.
As an contextualized partner, NTS leverages most aspects of Kairos while continuing to be a separate legal entity with its own governance, institutional authority, and management structures. NTS provides local mentors, learning resources, and support for Kairos students.
This partnership creates a path for current and future NTS students to seek admission into Kairos University to pursue an accredited degree while staying connected to NTS. It's a Kingdom-collaborative partnership!
